BRIAN BONACCI, Managing Partner

Brian Bonacci is the Managing Partner of BT Align, an independent IT and cybersecurity risk advisory firm focused on protecting business operations and enterprise value.

With more than 20 years of executive technology leadership experience, Brian advises SMB leadership teams and buy-side investors on technology risk exposure, cybersecurity posture, vendor performance, and operational resilience. His work centers on identifying vulnerabilities before they become financial liabilities — delivering clear, prioritized roadmaps that align technology strategy with business objectives.

Prior to founding BT Align, Brian built and led one of Southwest Florida’s leading Managed IT Services Providers, giving him deep insight into how IT providers operate — and where gaps in accountability, governance, and security often emerge. This experience uniquely positions him to provide independent, objective oversight for organizations seeking greater clarity and protection.

Earlier in his career, Brian held senior leadership roles at Pitney Bowes and PBFS, where he was responsible for large-scale IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, disaster recovery, and security operations. At Pitney Bowes, he led the integration of IT infrastructure for more than 60 acquisitions during a period of rapid growth — experience that now informs his M&A technology due diligence and risk advisory work.

Brian holds a Master of Science in Project Management from Boston University, a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Business from Post University, and a Certificate in Executive Management from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of ISACA and CompTIA.
