BRIAN BONACCI, Managing Partner

As Managing Partner of BT Align, an IT Consulting and Advisory firm, Brian Bonacci and his team provide Cybersecurity, Business Continuity, and IT operational assessments to businesses throughout Florida and nationwide.

A seasoned Information Technology professional with over 20 years of industry experience, Bonacci has helped dozens of companies—large and small—address their IT challenges. He is skilled in identifying the infrastructure needs and vulnerabilities of his clients and developing technology roadmaps and strategies that will improve security and operational efficiency.

Before founding BT Align, Bonacci was president and owner of TeamLogic IT, an award-winning, multi-location Managed Services Provider delivering IT services to businesses of all sizes nationwide.

Prior to his work at Team Logic IT, he began his career with PBFS, a Connecticut-based financial firm providing lease financing. As Director of Technical Services, he was responsible for the entire IT infrastructure supporting 800+ employees, mainframe systems, midrange UNIX systems, personal computers, local and wide area networks, telecommunication systems, disaster recovery and network security. While there, he won the Division Excellence Award.

After leaving PBFS, Bonacci joined Pitney-Bowes in Stamford, CT, where he managed the Global Project Office, Enterprise Applications, and End-User Computing. He led the creation of a project management-oriented staffing model, turning the operation from an isolated function into a hub of activity and the gold-standard for internal management of workflow and asset allocation. He later deployed the PMO model including the utilization of key metrics, to other divisions within the company.

At Pitney-Bowes, he also successfully integrated the IT infrastructure of 60+ acquisitions during high growth period, including establishing the help desk operations, messaging environment and all infrastructure activities.

Bonacci earned his Master of Science degree in Project Management from Boston University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Business from Post University. He received a Certificate in Executive Management from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business and a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute. He is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and the Computing Technology Industry Association.
