BT Align, an IT Advisory and Consulting firm, partnered with Cogent Bank to host a Cybersecurity seminar for their banking clients, which included many industry leaders in the area. Over 100 attendees joined the educational seminar and luncheon at DeRomo’s Banquet Room in Bonita Springs. Topics covered included the top Cybersecurity threats affecting businesses today and the preventative measures to protect data and maintain productivity. The audience shared Q&A and open dialogue and examples of fraud they had experienced. Scams involving money wiring and social media sites were big topics. Unfortunately, cybercrime affects everyone, but education and an IT partner can put steps in place to protect you and your business.
